The women's Be-Mine Cross shares the course on the slag heap of Beringen's former coal mine, one of the hilliest circuits in Belgian cross. The long climb up the terril rewards power, and the descents back down punish any lapse in concentration. The race dates from 2019, when Annemarie Worst won the first edition, and Fem van Empel won it three years running from 2022 to 2024. The Belgian championships held on the site in January 2026 showed how the course can turn a race. Fleur Moors went clear on the first lap, but she made mistakes in the same corner on two successive laps, and Marion Norbert-Riberolle caught her and kept her national title by 17 seconds. Now a Trofee round in late November, it gives the women's series a hard climbing race in the middle of the season.
