The Copenhagen Sprint is one of the newest races on the WorldTour, a flat, fast one-day built for the pure sprinters. First run in 2025 through the Danish capital, it takes a long route across the island of Zealand before finishing on city circuits in the centre of Copenhagen. Jordi Meeus won the inaugural edition in a bunch gallop. With almost no climbing, the race is about positioning, lead-outs and raw speed over the final kilometres. Denmark's deep cycling culture gave it a big crowd from the start. It fills a gap on the calendar for the fastest men in the peloton.
