The Copenhagen Sprint Women is a fast, flat one-day race through the Danish capital, made for the quickest finishers in the world. First run in 2025, it crosses the island of Zealand before a finale on circuits in central Copenhagen, where lead-out trains and timing decide everything. Lorena Wiebes won the inaugural edition, fitting for one of the best sprinters of her generation. There is little climbing to thin the field, so the race almost always comes down to a mass sprint. The Danish crowds turn out in force. It is a welcome addition for the sprinters on a calendar that often favours the climbers.
