Heerde is the HG Cross's only round outside Belgium, held at Heerderstrand, a recreation lake with sandy beaches in the Veluwe woods of the Dutch province of Gelderland. The flat lap mixes short paved stretches with sandy passages and technical sections through the park and over grass. The race is young: the earliest elite edition found was a stand-alone race in 2023, won by Niels Vandeputte, and it joined the Exact Cross a year later. In 2024 Eli Iserbyt came here for his first race back from a suspension, imposed after he stamped on Ryan Kamp's wheel in Beringen, and won alone. In 2025 Pim Ronhaar led by himself for seven of the eight laps, but Joris Nieuwenhuis, who had started on the wrong tyres, caught and dropped him on the last lap to win the Dutch duel by nine seconds. It is the one round of the series where the Dutch riders race at home.
