The Rapencross takes its name from the turnips on Lokeren's flag and coat of arms, and it is raced in Park ter Beuken, among the trees on the banks of the Durme. The compact lap passes the crowd many times and is built around the Mont Henri, a steep hill of about twelve metres that gives a flat town a course with real climbing. Daan Soete won the first elite edition in 2018, and Eli Iserbyt won in 2020 and 2021. In January 2023 the park staged the Belgian championships in front of more than 20,000 spectators. Thibau Nys came here in November 2024, a week after winning the European title, and won alone, and a year later Joris Nieuwenhuis attacked three laps from the end and won clear of Michael Vanthourenhout despite a crash. After two seasons in the X²O Badkamers Trofee, it returns to the HG Cross on a Saturday.
