Strade Bianche Donne crosses the same white gravel roads of the Tuscan crete senesi as the men's race and finishes on the same steep ramps into Siena's Piazza del Campo. First run in 2015, it became a prestige race almost at once, prized for its scenery and its unforgiving racing on dust and mud. Annemiek van Vleuten, Demi Vollering and Lotte Kopecky have each won it twice, and the gravel sectors reliably break the race apart long before the finish. In 2026 Elise Chabbey took the biggest win of her career in Siena. The combination of terrain and setting makes it one of the most beautiful days on the calendar. A win here is among the most admired in the sport.
