The women's Druivencross is raced on the same hillside in Overijse, where steep climbs, muddy switchbacks and cobbles punish any lapse in concentration. Women's results there go back to the early 2000s, and Daphny van den Brand is the record winner with four victories, while Katie Compton won three in a row from 2011 to 2013. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado, Blanka Vas and Puck Pieterse won it as a World Cup round, and Fem van Empel won when it returned to the Superprestige in 2023. The 2025 edition turned on one moment: Sara Casasola and Lucinda Brand were clear together when Brand hit a post and crashed on the penultimate lap, and Casasola rode the last lap alone to win by 28 seconds. It was her first Superprestige victory, and the Italian press called it a historic first for Italy in Overijse. Winning here means mastering one of the most technical courses of the autumn.
