The Tour de France Femmes is the biggest race in women's cycling and the fastest-growing event in the sport. ASO revived it in 2022 after decades without a women's Tour, and it became a marquee race almost at once, climbing landmarks like La Planche des Belles Filles, the Tourmalet and Alpe d'Huez. Every edition so far has produced a different champion and at least one unforgettable day. Annemiek van Vleuten soloed to the first modern title in 2022, Demi Vollering won in 2023, and Kasia Niewiadoma held on by four seconds in 2024, one of the closest Grand Tour finishes ever recorded. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot became the first French winner in 2025. The 2026 race runs nine stages, and a yellow jersey here now means as much as almost anything in cycling.
