The Tour of Flanders Women climbs the same legendary cobbled bergs as the men's race, the Oude Kwaremont and the Paterberg, on the same first Sunday of April. First run in 2004, it has grown into one of the toughest and most prestigious one-day races there is, decided by power and positioning on ramps slick with rain and lined ten deep with fans. Lotte Kopecky has won it three times, more than anyone, and the race has a habit of producing long, brave solo victories. In 2026 Demi Vollering attacked alone on the Oude Kwaremont and held on to take her first Ronde. Winning in Flanders carries a weight few other races can match. The cobbles decide it, and they decide it honestly.
