World Cup Glasgow takes the series to Kelvingrove Park, the Victorian park in the city's West End that is laid out over a large hill and crossed by the River Kelvin, with the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and the University of Glasgow beside it. It is the first World Cup round in Scotland and only the second in Great Britain, after Milton Keynes in the 2014–15 season, where Kevin Pauwels won. The course had not been published by early October 2026, but the promoters describe mud, grass and purpose-built obstacles, and the park offers slopes, riverbanks and cambers. Glasgow staged the first combined UCI Cycling World Championships in 2023, and Cameron Mason, the four-time British champion from Linlithgow, called the home round the biggest moment of his career. Whoever wins will be the first World Cup winner on Scottish soil.
