The women's race at World Cup Glasgow is the first elite women's World Cup round in Scotland, held in Kelvingrove Park, a park opened in 1852 that wraps around a hill above the River Kelvin. Britain's only previous World Cup round, at Milton Keynes in the 2014โ15 season, was won by Sanne Cant. No course had been released by early October 2026, though the organisers promise mud, grass and built obstacles, and the park's slopes and river paths rule out a flat lap. Glasgow hosted the combined UCI Cycling World Championships in 2023, although cyclocross was not on that programme. The home crowd has a Scottish rider to follow at the top of the British field in Anna Flynn, the British women's champion. With no past winners, the first edition will start the race's history.
