World Cup Tábor is raced at the Komora sports area in southern Bohemia, a ground built for cyclocross where spectators can follow almost the whole lap from the slopes. It has crowned four women's world champions. Marianne Vos defended her title here in 2010 in light snow on an icy course where many riders fell, and in 2015 Pauline Ferrand-Prévot won in the road world champion's rainbow jersey, beating Sanne Cant and Vos, on her way to holding road, cyclocross and mountain-bike titles at once. Fem van Empel took her second straight world title here in 2024 on a muddy course. Lucinda Brand has the most World Cup wins at Tábor with four, the latest in 2025, when she dropped Sara Casasola in the final corners on half-frozen ground. Coming early in the winter, it is one of the first races to show which women have arrived in form.
