The women's Zilvermeercross is held on the same white sand around Mol's bathing lake, and it rewards riders who can keep the bike moving through deep, loose sand on the passages across the beach. Lucinda Brand has won it three times, in 2017, January 2021 and December 2023, Sanne Cant twice, and Shirin van Anrooij took the 2022 edition. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has won the last two. In January 2026 she was a late addition to the start list after months of back trouble, in a race that began in winter sunshine and finished in a snowstorm. From a lead group with Julie Brouwers and Manon Bakker, she attacked on the tarmac of the finishing straight with two laps to go and rode the fastest lap of the race alone in the snow for her first win of the season. In 2026 the race moves to a Thursday, with the women starting at five in the afternoon.
