The women's Brussels Universities Cyclocross takes the field onto the VUB and ULB campuses in Ixelles, an unusual city setting for a sport mostly raced in parks, woods and dunes. The course strings together short climbs over terraced lawns, winding slopes between the buildings and tight turns. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has made it her race. She won the first three editions, from 2019 to 2021, and returned in 2026 to beat world champion Lucinda Brand, who had already won the series, by 22 seconds after going clear on the fifth of six laps. The 2025 race came down to a sprint in the amphitheatre on the VUB campus, where Sara Casasola beat her Crelan-Corendon teammate Marion Norbert-Riberolle by one second for her first win of that season. As the final round, it is where the women's Trofee ends and its winner is crowned.
