The women's Grand Prix Adrie van der Poel was added in 2002, and Daphny van den Brand won the first edition on the meadows, woods and Brabantse Wal slope along the Scheldeweg. Marianne Vos has won here five times and took two world titles at Hoogerheide, outsprinting the defending champion Hanka Kupfernagel in 2009 and winning her seventh title in 2014. At the 2023 Worlds Fem van Empel won her first elite title in front of a home crowd after Puck Pieterse slipped in a turn halfway through. Lucinda Brand has won the World Cup race three times. In 2026 Pieterse won a tactical race, recovering from a small error on an off-camber and attacking on the final lap to beat Kristýna Zemanová and Amandine Fouquenet. As the usual last round of the World Cup, it is the final chance to win before the World Championships.
